Our holiday park is within close proximity to many tourist attractions yet is far enough away to enjoy the tranquility of rural Cumbria and avoid the hustle and bustle of the many Lake District visitors.
Other major tourist attractions near to Flusco Wood include:

Ullswater – One of the most beautiful lakes in the Lake District. Ullswater Steamers run daily. Plenty of boating activity available.

Golf – Course at both Penrith (2 miles) and Keswick (10 miles) Floodlit driving range at Penrith.

Country Houses – Hutton in the Forest, Mirehouse and Dalemain are all nearby. Houses open to the public and have beautiful gardens to explore.

Fishing – Stocked lakes nearby to fish on daily permits.

Market Towns – Close to Penrith (4 miles) with markets on Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday and Keswick (12 miles) with a market on Wednesdays.
